Installation Specs
Ideally used for single gate applications of 3” or 3.5” thick gates. The 3” and 3.5” sizes work great in conjunction with our Double Strap Hinge selections (8312, 8324 and 8325).
Best if used with laterally adjustable hinges to provide for easy adjustment.
The 3” and 3.5” models both require a 1-1/2” space between the gate and the post
Self-latches every time just by pushing the gate closed.
Not affected by normal gate sag because in the closed position the gate just sits in the middle of the yolk. Nothing actually fastens to the gate so it can rise and fall without affecting the latch operation.
