The Adjustable Gate Hanger on 4” Square Plate can be used for various applications where a pin that is lag screwed to the post is needed. It is often used in conjunction with our Heavy Duty Double Strap (8312/8324/8325) and Straight Flat Strap Hinges (8307) on driveway posts that cannot be through-bolted due to their size or configuration. Its threaded design allows for adjustment in and out, if required.

Installation Specs
Ideally used as a lag screw to the post option with our Central Eye Double Strap Hinges (8312), Straight Eye Double Strap Hinges (8322), Rear Eye Double Strap Hinges (8324/8325), Heavy Duty Straight Strap Hinges (8305/8307) and our Adjustable Gate Eyes (8251).
Drill a 1” dia. x 1-1/2” deep hole into post behind the pin location prior to installation. This allows the pin to be adjusted back into the post.
The mounting holes in each corner are sized for use with 3/8” lag screws or regular bolts. (no fasteners incl.)
