The Lockable ‘Mammoth’ Cane Bolt Keeper is intended for use with our 36” ‘Mammoth’ Cane Bolts (5000). We sometimes recommend a second keeper be installed, spaced a little bit apart, to create greater stability and increased strength. Alternatively, a keeper can be used as a bar retainer when a cane bolt is turned horizontally to function as a latch instead of dropping it into the ground.
